G. K. Granites (P) Ltd., is one of the largest exporters of cobblestones in the world and is one among the only three bulk exporters of cobblestones from India. Having commenced in 1995, the company was able to make a modest shipment of 20,000 Metric Tons of cobblestones in March 1997. Furthermore, as the production capacities, quarrying infrastructure and its buyers profile grew in size and quality, GK Mineral Corporation was born which is being run by a woman entrepreneur is now able to produce 40,000 Metric tons of cobblestones and other stone based products.
Curb is an edge found along roads and streets that is raised to meet sidewalks or pavements. Granite is the common material that has been used for curbing in almost all European and American countries for many years and is still being followed.

Our quarries are located in the states of Karnataka and AP in south India, spread over 30 hectares of licenced mining land. The production is under the direct control of a Director, assisted by managers, supervisors & quality inspectors, well versed in all aspects of quality.
Indian Cobblestones are known for their durability and resistance to extremities of weather. The great temples of South India were built out of the Grey South Indian Granite stones and are paved with stone slabs, which form the raw material for cobblestone production.
